Where are these found?
New Caleodonia.

What is the lifespan?
At this point the true captive longevity of these animals is not know; however, a well cared for
crested can live for more than 15 years.

What size will they get?
Typically grow to a length of about 7-9 inches

What do they eat?
They are omnivorous.
Food Item Options: They love their crickets, however they need a variety. Although a
crested gecko diet can be purchased, you can feed them any fruit flavored baby food.
Keep in mind that they like tropical fruits like mango, banana, apricot, etc...

What can I house my new pet in?
You can easily house them in either a screened cage, terrarium, or glass tank.
Bedding: A wide variety of bedding can be used from paper towels to reptile bark. Keep
in mind that NO REPTILES should ever use cedar or pine shavings... Cedar can kill your
reptiles.
Watering: They like to drink water that has been sprayed, you can accomplish this by
simply using a spray bottle and spraying the enclosure once a day. This also helps
provide higher humidity for them as well.
Hiding spot: Almost anything can be used as a hide or cover for them. Items that can be
used from PVC pipe to vines and fake foliage.

Temperatures 65-80°F. Rule of thumb room temperature is fine as long as it falls between 72-
80° temperatures between 65-72° should only be for a period no longer then a few months.

variety. Although a crested gecko diet is available, you can feed them any fruit flavored
baby food with tropical fruits like mango, banana, apricot, etc...
